Real Estates Development
AEI focuses primarily on residential and mixed-use developments, whether they be greenfield, redevelopments, or adaptive re-use development in emerging urban neighbourhoods. The Devil is in the details. AEI’s internal design team will research, curate and uncover the key aspects of AEI’s portfolio of proposed irreplaceable buildings. This attention to detail allows us to deliver thoughtful, non-commodity spaces to our tenants.
Joint Venture Structuring
AEI is uniquely positioned to form strategic partnerships with property owners who own underutilized properties and land assets.
Our joint venture transactions are executed via Project Special Purpose limited liability companies, wherein AEI provides capital and facilitates operating expertise and counterparties provide land assets.
Our preference for an SPV structure is predicated on its high capacity for risk disaggregation; It’s Guaranteed Independence; and It’s potential to becoming a Going Concern
Asset Acquisition
AEI’s acquisitions team identifies well-located and exceptional assets with opportunities to improve leasing, market positioning, physical layout and capital structuring.
Utilizing its broad network of relationships and resources in the commercial, residential and mixed-use real estate, and finance industries, the acquisitions team pursues opportunities unique to its investment expertise. AEI’s acquisitions are primarily off-market transactions, sourced through the firm’s proprietary network of relationships
AEI intends to deploy over $100 million through equity, debt and structured financing instruments across 5 development projects in Abuja, Lagos and London, investing alongside institutional and private investors, investment managers, and hedge funds
